Driving stoned and nearly killing daughter, 4, not enough to strip dad of visits 25 06, 2015
Peyton Bean, who is now 5, was nearly killed in a car crash on the state Thruway in Ontario County last September. Her father, who was the driver, has since pleaded guilty to vehicular assault after admitting he smoked marijuana when he veered off the road and struck a tree. The 4-year-old Peyton spent 11 days on life support in a coma and seven more days recovering from facial reconstruction surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She now has fully recovered.
